2012 Sundance Film Festival Film Guide

It’s here! The Sundance 2012 Film Guide is the film equivalent of Vogue’s September Issue. This will make good reading as I travel six hours coast-to-coast on the red-eye tonight. There’s something about film festivals that makes me giddy: the premieres, the clouds of cigarette smoke outside the theatre, the producer yelling into her phone, the tired-back postures of reviewers as they wait in line for a coffee…

My wish list, in no particular order:
Ai Wei-Wei: Never Sorry
Mosquita y Mari
Red Hook Summer (Brooklyn represent!)
The Orator
Monsieur Lazar
Middle of Nowhere
The Ambassador
Love Free or Die
