This year’s Virginia Film Festival in Charlottesville teams up with Turner Classic movies to screen classic films, notably National Velvet and the Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Wish I could be there!
Finally, the San Francisco Film Society’s fall season includes several mini-festivals, including Cinema By the Bay, the International Animation Festival and New Italian Cinema.
